This dataset is based on MODIS data, improved NDSI ratio algorithm for terrain influence to obtain snow cover area, spatiotemporal data interpolation, and finally multi-source data fusion with AMSR-E microwave snow depth products
This dataset adopts a longitude and latitude (Geographic) projection method, with a geodetic reference plane of WGS84 and a spatial resolution of 0.005 °. It provides a daily map of the cloudless snow cover area of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau from 2008 to 2010. The dataset is stored by year and consists of three folders, from 2008 to 2010. Each folder contains the daily snow cover classification results of the current year, which is a tif file. The Naming convention is YYYY. tif, where YYYY represents the year (2008-2010) andrepresents the day (001~365/366). It can be opened directly using ARCGIS or ENVI
