This dataset system collects precipitation and water quality monitoring data from the National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station for Geological Hazards in Badong, Hubei Province from April 18, 2022 to May 27, 2025. It covers the core area of the Badong experimental site and meets the hydrological environment monitoring needs of the high-risk areas for geological disasters in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. The monitoring adopts standardized water quality detection technology, focusing on core indicators such as precipitation pH value, suspended solids, heavy metal content, and conventional ion concentration. It synchronously records auxiliary information such as monitoring time, precipitation intensity, and monitoring points, with complete data and reliable accuracy. The dataset clearly reflects the dynamic changes in precipitation and water quality at the Badong experimental site over the past four years, as well as the mutual influence between precipitation and the geological environment of the reservoir area. It can directly provide basic data support for the study of hydrological environment evolution, geological disaster prevention and control, and water quality pollution warning in the Three Gorges reservoir area, and can also provide reference for similar field experimental site precipitation and water quality monitoring research.
