This dataset contains daily temperature continuous observation records from 60 meteorological observation stations covering key geological hazard research areas in Badong County, Hubei Province (such as Huangtupo, Tanjiaping, Tongjiaping, etc.) from January 1, 2000 to April 7, 2006. This dataset system reflects the spatial and temporal distribution and variation characteristics of local temperature under typical complex terrain in the Three Gorges Project during the critical period of initial water storage (from June 2003 to 135 meters, and from October 2006 to 156 meters). It provides key background data for studying the potential impact of dam construction and initial operation on local microclimate, analyzing the correlation between climate change and geological disaster activities such as landslides. The fields include time (year, month, day), station number, average temperature (℃), maximum temperature (℃), and minimum temperature (℃).
