This dataset is the runoff field data of different slopes in the Yulin Gully of the Xindian Gully Basin, the first sub area of the Loess Hilly and Gully Region, in 2022. Observe the secondary precipitation, runoff, and sediment yield of runoff generated by different slope runoff fields in Yulin Gully, and compare the water and sediment reduction benefits of different slopes. The runoff field situation can be seen in the 2022 situation description of different slope runoff fields in Yulin Gully. The data includes the results of successive runoff and sediment tests for different slope runoff fields in Yulin Gully, as well as the measured results of soil moisture content. The basic information of the runoff fields can be found in the "2022 Explanation of Different Slope Runoff Fields in Yulin Gully"

Manual timing observation
1. Rainfall observation: the observation instruments for precipitation include SM1 ordinary rain gauge with diameter of 20cm and dsj2 siphon self recording rain gauge. The precipitation of runoff plots with different slopes is based on the data of rainfall stations in the test site.
2.Sediment sampling and treatment: different observation facilities are adopted for runoff and sediment, including triangular weir, triangular groove, water distribution tank and runoff pool. Sand ocean is collected by triangular weir and triangular groove in the process of runoff generation; the water level of runoff pool is read immediately after precipitation and runoff is terminated, and runoff is calculated according to the area and water level of water distribution tank and runoff pool The sediment sample (500cm3) was taken by mixing water evenly, and the replacement method was used for sample disposal.
3.Soil moisture content: in a representative fixed site, after removing the surface weeds, samples were taken at a depth of 30 cm and determined by drying (weighing) method.
In the process of compilation and input of observation data, there are four levels of manual verification, including tabulation, primary calibration, recheck and audit, so as to ensure the data quality.
