This data set is the runoff field data of different measures in Xindiangou watershed of the first sub region of Loess Hilly and gully region from 1988 to 1990. The secondary precipitation, runoff and sediment yield of runoff generated by different measures of runoff field in Yulin gully were observed, and the benefits of water and sediment reduction by different measures were compared. The data include the results of runoff and sediment measurement of different measures of Yulin ditch, and the measured results of soil moisture content. For the runoff field of Yulin ditch, please refer to the description of runoff field of different measures in Yulin ditch from 1988 to 1990.

Continuous observation by instrument and manual observation
1. Rainfall observation: the precipitation of runoff plots with different measures in Yulin gully is based on the data of rainfall station in the test site. 2. Sediment sampling and treatment: different observation facilities are adopted for runoff and sediment, including water distribution tank and runoff pool. The water level of runoff pool is read immediately after the precipitation and runoff is terminated, and the runoff is calculated according to the area and water level of water distribution tank and runoff pool. The sediment sample is taken by mixing the slurry of water distribution tank and runoff pool evenly, and the sample disposal adopts replacement method. 3. Soil moisture content: in a representative fixed site, after removing the surface weeds, samples were taken at a depth of 30 cm and determined by drying (weighing) method.
In the process of compilation and input of observation data, there are four levels of manual verification, including tabulation, primary calibration, recheck and audit, so as to ensure the data quality.
