The Qilian Mountains drainage ditch basin is a field scientific research test basin of Qilian Mountains Forests Ecological Station. It is located in Mazhi Township, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. The latitude and longitude of the grassland meteorological observation field are 100.29 E, 38.55 N, and the altitude is 2718 m. Mainly observed air temperature and humidity, precipitation, soil temperature, water evaporation, radiation and other factors. The dataset contains daily artificial ground meteorological observation data in the vegetation growing season ( May-September ), and contains six Excel files. Each element of daily data is stored in the file alone.

The data of this dataset are all artificial observation data, which are observed in strict accordance with the ground meteorological observation specifications of the National Meteorological Administration. The observation time is 2 : 00, 8 : 00, 14 : 00 and 20 : 00 a day. Air temperature is measured by dry bulb thermometer, wet bulb thermometer, air maximum thermometer, air minimum thermometer and thermometer. The air humidity is observed by hair humidity meter and humidity meter. The surface temperature was observed by the highest and lowest surface temperature meter, and the soil temperature was observed by the curved pipe surface temperature meter and the straight pipe surface temperature meter. Evaporation of water surface was measured by E601B small evaporator with a diameter of 20 cm. Precipitation was observed by rain gauge. The sunshine hours were observed by the dark tube sunshine meter. Frozen soil depth was observed by frozen soil apparatus. Observation elements are 1.5 meters air temperature, 1.5 meters air humidity, 1.5 meters air maximum temperature, 1.5 meters air minimum temperature, precipitation, surface evaporation, sunshine hours. Surface maximum temperature, surface minimum temperature, multilayer soil temperature ( 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 40cm, 80cm, 160cm ), frozen soil depth. After all observation elements have been observed within 10 minutes, this observation data has been obtained after the revision of each observation equipment difference
Daily observation data are obtained by averaging or aggregate values. The daily average values of air temperature, air humidity and soil temperature at different levels were taken. The daily total values of precipitation and water surface evaporation were taken. The observation values of frozen soil depth were taken at 8 o ' clock daily. The maximum and minimum temperatures of air, surface and maximum and minimum air pressure were taken from 20 o ' clock on the previous day to 20 o ' clock on the same day. The observation values of sunshine hours were taken at 20 o ' clock daily. Daily data were obtained and stored after sorting.
In strict accordance with the requirements of the ground meteorological observation specification of the National Meteorological Administration, the observation process is standardized, the data is reliable and the data quality is good.
