Qilian mountain forest ecosystem national positioning observation and research station is located in MATI Township, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. 29e, 38. 57n, 2575m above sea level, 25m in size × 25m, mainly observing air temperature and humidity, precipitation, soil temperature, air pressure, wind speed and direction, water surface evaporation, radiation and other factors. This data set is the daily observation data of the station from 1995 to 2010. It contains 10 Excel files, and the daily data of each element is stored separately in one file.

The data of the data set are all manual observation data, which are observed in strict accordance with the requirements of surface meteorological observation specifications of the National Meteorological Administration. The observation time is 2:00, 8:00, 14:00 and 20 days a day; The air temperature was measured by dry bulb thermometer, wet bulb thermometer, air maximum thermometer, air minimum thermometer and thermometer; The air humidity was observed by hair hygrometer and hygrometer; The surface temperature was measured by the highest and lowest surface temperature meters, and the soil temperature was measured by the curved tube geothermometer and the straight tube geothermometer; The atmospheric pressure was observed by moving trough mercury barometer and barometer; The evaporation of water surface was observed by E601B evaporator with diameter of 20cm; The precipitation is observed by rain gauge; The wind speed and direction were observed by 10 meter wind pole and El type electric wind direction anemometer; The sunshine hours were observed by dark tube sunshine meter; The depth of frozen soil is observed by permafrost. The observation elements are 1.5m air temperature, 1.5m air humidity, 1.5m air maximum temperature, 1.5m air minimum temperature, air pressure, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, water surface evaporation and sunshine hours; The maximum and minimum surface temperature, multi-layer soil temperature (5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 40cm, 80cm), frozen soil depth. After all the elements are observed, the observation data are obtained according to the correction of the instrument error of the observation equipment.
The daily observation data can be obtained by calculating the average or total value. The daily average values of air temperature, air humidity, air pressure, wind speed and soil temperature of different layers are taken, the daily total values of precipitation and water surface evaporation are taken, the daily observation values of frozen soil depth are taken at 8:00, the highest and lowest air temperature, the highest and lowest surface temperature and the highest and lowest air pressure are taken from 20:00 of the previous day to 20:00 of the current day, and the daily observation values of sunshine hours are taken. After sorting, the daily data are obtained and stored.
The observation personnel are professional technicians of the ecological station, and have been trained by the local meteorological bureau. The observation process is standardized, the observation data is reliable and the data quality is good.
