<p>   In view of the remarkable anisotropy of schistose bearing slate, the data set is used to deeply study the fracture evolution mechanism of slate under Brazilian splitting test conditions through RMT testing machine, combined with high-speed camera, acoustic emission and other monitoring equipment. The ultimate bearing capacity of samples under different schistosity angles and load direction combinations, time distribution characteristics of acoustic emission activities and crack propagation process recorded by high-speed camera are measured.
