This dataset is based on Landsat MSS, TM, and ETM remote sensing images, mainly interpreted visually from topographic maps by relevant experts from all over the country based on their understanding of image spectra, textures, tones, etc. This data includes files: (1) lucc2005 (ArcGIS coverage graphic file); (2) Land Use Cover Classification System.doc. The data belongs to the scope of remote sensing, altitude: 820-4722 meters; Projection: Albers. This data has three valid fields: Area (polygon area); PERIMETER (polygon perimeter); LUCC2005-I (Land Use Type). The land use types are detailed in the land use cover system classification in the file set.
The data comes from the project "China Western Environmental and Ecological Science Data Center" funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
A 1:100000 land use image and vector database for China was established based on Landsat MSS, TM, and ETM remote sensing data.
Strictly follow the remote sensing industry standards for remote sensing interpretation, and the corrected image should meet the same pixel error requirement of less than 1 pixel in plain areas and less than 2 pixels in mountainous areas. The database has been validated through field investigations and achieved an accuracy of 95%.
