Datasets description

This dataset uses SRTM v41 1s segmented data, which is processed through image stitching, projection conversion, cropping, etc. to generate a 30m resolution digital elevation model (DEM) for the Qilian Mountains region.

Data source description

The 30m resolution DEM data for the Qilian Mountains region comes from NASA's SRTM v41 1s data, which is currently distributed for free by USGS and can be downloaded for free from the USGS FTP site.

Data processing method

Using a Python program, the SRTM v41 1s segmented data is processed through format conversion, concatenation, and cropping to obtain 30m resolution DEM data for the Qilian Mountains region;

Data quality description

The vertical error of SRTM DEM data is less than 16 meters
