This data set is the simple runoff field observation data of xindiangou watershed in the first sub region of loess hilly gully region from 1956 to 1963. The secondary precipitation, runoff and sediment of runoff produced by runoff plots with different soil and water conservation measures were observed, and the water and sediment reduction benefits of different measures were compared. The runoff field is shown in the basic information table of simple runoff field. The main monitoring indexes are: site number, month, day, rainfall (mm), runoff (m3 / km2), runoff coefficient (%), and erosion (T / km2).

Instrument continuous observation manual observation
1. The observation instruments for each rainfall are SM1 ordinary rain gauge with a diameter of 20cm and DSJ2 siphon type self recording Rain gauge P>
2. Runoff and sediment are manually observed in a runoff pool. The water level of the runoff pool is immediately read after the precipitation and runoff terminate, and the runoff is calculated based on the area and water level of the runoff pool; Mix the muddy water in the runoff pool evenly and take a sediment sample (500cm ³), The sample is disposed of using the displacement method
In the process of integration and input of observation data, there are four levels of manual verification, which are tabulation, primary calibration, re calibration and audit, to ensure the data quality.
