This dataset is the observation data set of dam and reservoir siltation in the Xindiangou watershed of the first sub area of the loess hilly and gully region in 2023. The investigation method mainly relies on three-dimensional coordinate control piles and water gauge monitoring piles, using both conventional monitoring and RTK methods. The investigation includes the average sedimentation thickness and amount of sedimentation of the silt dam. The data includes monitoring point maps of siltation dams and calculation results tables of siltation observation data

Manual investigation
After the rainstorm or annual and flood season, the selected monitoring warping dam site shall be monitored on the spot. The water gauge reading on each monitoring station or the real-time monitoring elevation of sediment deposition shall be used to read the water surface elevation on each monitoring station of the warping dam after the rainstorm, and then the average deposition elevation method shall be used to calculate the sediment deposition amount of the monitored warping dam. </p>
Survey data are investigated, calculated and reported to ensure data quality. </p>
