This data set is the sedimentation observation data set of dam and reservoir (three warping dams) in xindiangou watershed of the first sub region of Loess Hilly and gully region from 2017 to 2020. The survey methods are mainly based on three-dimensional coordinate control pile and water gauge monitoring pile, using conventional monitoring and RTK methods. The survey includes the average thickness and amount of silting. The data include warping dam monitoring point map and siltation observation data calculation results table.

Manual investigation
<p>After the rainstorm or annual and flood season, the selected monitoring warping dam site shall be monitored on the spot. The water gauge reading on each monitoring station or the real-time monitoring elevation of sediment deposition shall be used to read the water surface elevation on each monitoring station of the warping dam after the rainstorm, and then the average deposition elevation method shall be used to calculate the sediment deposition amount of the monitored warping dam. </p>
<p>Survey data are investigated, calculated and reported to ensure data quality. </p>
