The cation exchange capacity of different types of saline soils includes the data of soil base ions and soil cation exchange capacity of different types of saline soils in the middle and upper reaches of Tarim River in Aksu area, Xinjiang. Salinized soil data (organic matter and eight ions) include total salt of salinized soil and pH of salinized soil; Water extraction germination potential was set up in continuous cropping obstacle elimination test; Water extraction - germination rate; Water extraction - seedling length; Water extraction - plant height; Water extract - blank. The data were collected from 2017 to 2018 at alar and Tarim rivers in Xinjiang.

Excel and SPSS are used for data input, processing and calculation.
