This data includes the NDVI grid data set of Qilian Mountains from 1982 to 2020, and the geographic coordinate system WGS_ 1984, projection coordinate system Albert. The NDVI data of long time series is helpful for long-term monitoring of surface characteristics and vegetation coverage.

The GIMMS NDVI data and MODIS NDVI data are selected for the study. The GIMMS NDVI data is the GIMMS NDVI V1 version, with a time range of 1982 to 2015 and a spatial resolution of about 8 km. The data is obtained from the Ecocast website (https:/ecocast. arc. nasa. gov/data/pub/gms). From 2000 to 2020, USGS was selected( http://lpdaac.usgs.gov )The provided MODIS NDVI (MOD13A1) has a temporal resolution of 16d and a spatial resolution of 1km.
The GIMMS NDVI data and MODIS NDVI data are selected for the study. The GIMMS NDVI data is selected from the GIMMS NDVI V1 version, with a time range of 1982 to 2015, and a spatial resolution of about 8 km. The data is from the Ecocast website( https://ecocast.arc.nasa.gov/data/pub/gimms )Get. Since the data resolution is 15 days, the maximum composite method (MVC) is used to obtain the annual NDVI data. From 2000 to 2020, the MODIS NDVI (MOD13A1) provided by the United States Geological Survey (http://lpdaac. usgs. gov) was selected. The time resolution of the product was 16d and the spatial resolution was 1km. The annual NDVI maximum of the study area is obtained by using the maximum synthesis method after the original data is pretreated by the MRT tool. In order to ensure the consistency of the two types of data, the monthly data of the two types of overlapping data were selected for verification by using the spatial-temporal stability analysis and statistical downscaling (Lin et al., 2020), combined with the format conversion, resampling and other preprocessing, to obtain the long time series NDVI data of the Qilian Mountain National Park with a spatial resolution of 1 km from 1982 to 2020.
