This data is the soil water characteristics data set of different underlying surface types along different altitudes in Aksu Mountain Watershed of Xinjiang from 2014 to 2016. The basic soil stratified water characteristics data (0cm, 10cm, 20cm, 30cm, 50cm, 80cm) of two major cryosphere basins were obtained through soil hydraulic parameter experiment in the laboratory, including soil thickness (CM), weight moisture content (%), saturated water content (%), and so on Field capacity (%), dry density (g / cm3), porosity (%), volumetric water content (%), longitude and latitude, latitude, altitude and number.
Investigation method: soil profiles were excavated in the field, and soil samples were taken along different profiles by using ring knife and small aluminum box. Indoor experiment: soil water characteristics were measured by ring knife and small aluminum box soil samples taken from the field. The experimental process was completed by two people, and the results were reviewed by special personnel to ensure the accuracy of experimental data. The process and method of field sampling and indoor experiment are carried out according to "field test and method of Hydrology in cold region".
The data table is manually entered by a specially assigned person according to the experimental results.
