Datasets description

 This dataset contains animal resource data for various district- and county-level regions within the Yellow River Basin. The data is primarily sourced from the yearbooks of these district- and county-level regions within the Yellow River Basin. Due to the inconsistent editing of yearbooks across regions, the data in this dataset is presented in natural language.

 The Yellow River Basin regions included in this dataset are: Henan Province (Sanmenxia City, Luoyang City, Jiaozuo City, Zhengzhou City, Puyang City), Shaanxi Province (Yulin City, Yan'an City, Weinan City), Shanxi Province (Luliang City, Xinzhou City, Linfen City, Yuncheng City, [note: Luliang City is listed twice in the original text, which may be a typo or error, so it's listed once here for clarity]), Shandong Province (Heze City, Jining City, Dezhou City, Jinan City, Binzhou City, Zibo City, Dongying City), Qinghai Province (Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Haidong City), Sichuan Province (Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture), Gansu Province (Lanzhou City, Baiyin City), Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (Zhongwei City, Wuzhong City, Yinchuan City), Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (Wuhai City, Bayannur, Erdos City).

Data source description

 2. Attribute Descriptions: (1) Province: Provincial areas through which the river basin flows (2) City: Municipal areas through which the river basin flows (3) County (District): District- and county-level areas through which the river basin flows (4) Animal Species (including wildlife): The number of animal species in the area of the river basin, including the names of the animals.

 The time span of the yearbooks is from 2015 to 2019, so each worksheet represents one year.

Data processing method

 The data in this dataset is compiled into a tabular form from the statistical yearbooks of various regions.

Data quality description

 During the process of data production and aggregation, strict measures for data quality control are implemented, ensuring a robust procedure for data generation and utilization.
