This data set is the observation data of soil moisture content in runoff field of different landform types in Qiaogou watershed, the first sub region of Loess Hilly and gully region from 2011 to 2020. Qiaogou watershed is located in Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, with an area of 0.45 square kilometers. The shape of the watershed is foliar, with a length and width of 1.4km and 0.32km, a relative height difference of 132M, and a gully density of 5.4km2. It belongs to the first tributary of peijiamaogou (the first tributary of Wuding River). In this data set, the soil water content of eight runoff plots with different geomorphic types in Qiaogou was observed. Soil samples were collected every day, and the samples were measured on the day of precipitation, but not on the day of no precipitation. The basic situation of runoff field is shown in the description of runoff field of different landform types in Qiaogou from 2011 to 2020. The main monitoring indicators include: field number, measurement times, sampling date, "soil moisture content (%) sampling depth 0-10cm" and "precipitation between two measurements (mm)".

<pre><code> <p>Artificial timing observation</p>
<pre><code> <p>Precipitation observation instruments include SM1 ordinary rain gauge with a diameter of 20cm and dsj2 siphon type self recording rain gauge. The SM1 type adopts the 8-hour and 20-hour two-stage system for annual observation. It mainly observes the start and end time of precipitation and makes statistics of precipitation. When the intermittent time of precipitation is more than 15 minutes, it is observed as two times of precipitation before and after the interval. When the intermittent time is less than 15 minutes, it is recorded as one-time precipitation observation. If one-time precipitation crosses 8 hours and 20 hours, it should be measured at 8 hours and 20 hours. Dsj2 type adopts 24 section system for flood season observation. In case of failure of self recording rain gauge, the observation data of ordinary rain gauge is used for supplement. </p>
<pre><code> <p>In order to ensure the data quality, four levels of manual verification are carried out in the process of integrating and entering observation data, which are tabulation, preliminary calibration, re calibration and audit. <P>
