This data set is the soil moisture content observation data of runoff field of different geomorphic types in Qiaogou watershed, the first sub region of Loess Hilly and gully region from 1991 to 2000. Qiaogou watershed is located in Suide County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, which belongs to the first tributary of peijiamaogou (the first tributary of Wuding River). In this data set, the soil water content of eight runoff plots with different geomorphic types in Qiaogou was observed. Soil samples were collected every day, and the samples were measured on the precipitation day. If there was no precipitation, the samples were not measured. The main monitoring elements were: "field number" measurement times, sampling date, "soil water content (%), (sampling depth 0-10cm)" and "precipitation between two measurements (mm)" month day.
Manual timing observation
In a representative fixed site, after removing the surface weeds, samples were taken at a depth of 30 cm and determined by drying (weighing) method.
In the process of data entry, there are four levels of manual verification, including tabulation, primary proofreading, rechecking and auditing, so as to ensure the data quality.
