This data set is the radar meteorological observation data of Pingliang Lightning and Hailstorm Experimental Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, including the dual polarization Doppler radar observation data of Fujian Quangang in 2009.
The observation period began on July 25, 2009 and ended on August 31, 2009.
The dual polarization Doppler radar receiver is a digital intermediate frequency receiver, the transmitter is a traveling wave tube pulse compressor, the polarization system is dual channel simultaneous transmission and horizontal channel, separate transmission (interchangeable), the signal processor is RVP900, and the antenna controller RCP8.
The obtained echo parameter intensities include velocity V, spectral width W, intensity reflectance difference, differential transmission phase shift, phase difference, correlation coefficient, and linear depolarization ratio Ldr.

The dual polarization Doppler radar has a wavelength of 3cm, optional transmission pulse width of 1us or 2us, receiver sensitivity of -109dBm, optional transmission waveform horizontal or 45 degree linearly polarized wave, intensity signal accuracy of 0.5dB, and phase signal accuracy of 0.1 º.
