This data set is mainly from the China Earthquake Networks Center (www.ceic. ac.cn) and the USGS Seismic Science Center (www.usgs. gov/centers/earthquake science center), and is obtained through data extraction and classification.
1) Obtain the information of moderately strong earthquakes through public information channels such as China Earthquake Networks Center and USGS;
2) Merge and organize different source data to form a seismic information table;
3) Associate earthquake location with administrative data through coordinates;
4) Develop a program to obtain information on earthquake affected areas and input it into the earthquake statistics table of the administrative region;
5) Extract information on the number of earthquakes, magnitude distribution, earthquake details, casualties, etc. that occur in the local area, and input it into the earthquake statistics table of the administrative region.
The data quality is good.
