This dataset consists of 25 runoff fields in the Nanxiaohe River Basin from 2021 to 2022, including 14 bare slope plots with 7 measurement points, 6 forest plots with 4 measurement points, 5 natural wasteland plots with 5 measurement points, and 35 runoff fields with 14 bare slope plots with 7 measurement points, 6 forest plots with 4 measurement points, 6 natural wasteland plots with 6 measurement points, and 10 artificial grasslands with 10 measurement points for soil moisture content observation data. From May to September 2011 to 2015, and from April to October 2016 to 2020, soil drills were used to take samples in layers within the protection zone of the community on the 1st, 11th, and 21st of each month. The depth of each layer was 0-10cm, 10-20cm, 20-40cm, 40-60cm, 60-80cm, and 80-100cm, and one sample was taken from each layer. The soil moisture content was calculated using the drying weight difference method, and its value was the soil moisture content of the soil layer.
