Datasets description

 This dataset provides statistics on the distribution area of forests and woodlands in various provinces along the Yellow River Basin (Henan Province, Shaanxi Province, Shanxi Province, Qinghai Province, Sichuan Province, Gansu Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) in 2016, with the area unit being 10,000 hectares.

 This table is derived from the Eighth National Forest Resources Inventory (2009-2013).

Data source description

 The National Bureau of Statistics official website (http://www.stats.gov.cn/tjsj/) is used to query annual data. In the regional breakdown section, queries are made using the names of various provinces as keywords.

Data processing method

 The data was queried from the official website of the National Bureau of Statistics, manually collected, and stored in Excel.

Data quality description

 During the process of data production and compilation, strict measures for data quality control were implemented, ensuring a robust data generation process and utilization methods.
