This dataset is precipitation observation data from 6 rainfall stations (Shijiabao, Hujiabao, Maojiazhuang, Chaijiashan, Banpozhai, and Luergoukou) in the Luergou Basin from 2021 to 2024; the SM1 ordinary rainfall gauge and SL-1 self-recording rain gauge are used for observation; this dataset includes daily precipitation scales, precipitation extracts, maximum precipitation scales for each period (Tables 1 and 2), and successive flood precipitation observation results tables.

<p>Instrument continuous observation; Manual timing observation; Manually extract and compile data.
<p>SM1 ordinary rain gauge is used for annual observation, and excerpts are made for 4 sections in flood season (May to October) and 2 sections in non-flood season; SL-1 self-recording rain gauge observation in flood season, excerpted in 24 sections. The self-recording rain gauge shall be calibrated before the flood season, and the abnormal value in the observation process shall be interpolated with the observation value of the ordinary rain gauge.
<p>The precipitation observation data shall be observed, sorted out and compiled in strict accordance with the "Precipitation Observation Specification" (SL21). Observation data shall be measured, calculated, sorted and analyzed according to the requirements of "four follow-up", and errors and unreasonable records of observation shall be timely handled and corrected, and notes shall be made. During the compilation and entry process of observation data, four levels of manual verification (tabulation, preliminary calibration, recheck and review) are carried out to ensure the data quality.
