The comprehensive dataset of frozen soil temperature along the China Russia crude oil pipeline includes observation data of frozen soil temperature from 6 monitoring sites and 8 boreholes, with a data time range from June 2022 to June 2024. The data was automatically collected through the thermistor temperature chain (developed by the State Key Laboratory of Cryosphere Science and Frozen Soil Engineering, with a measurement accuracy of ± 0.05 ℃) deployed on the site, and recorded by the CR3000 data acquisition instrument and the TRM128 deep hole temperature measurement expansion board, with a collection frequency of 2h/time. The raw observation data is calculated on a daily basis to generate daily scale data, forming a dataset. This dataset can be used for thermal characteristics analysis of frozen soil along pipelines, monitoring of frozen soil environments, research on engineering thermal disturbances, and related research on frozen soil disasters and environmental science.
The coordinates of each monitoring site in the table are: MDS94 (124 ° 31'34.43 "E, 52 ° 44'56.39" N), MDS166 (124 ° 42'07.74 "E, 52 ° 12'42.88" N), MDS248 (124 ° 20'38.06 "E, 51 ° 35'26.41" N), MDS304 (124 ° 11'34.63 "E, 51 ° 09'38.17" N), MDS364 (124 ° 18'46.69 "E, 50 ° 41'9.38" N), and MDS391 (124 ° 13'32.11 "E, 50 ° 28'14.32" N).

This dataset belongs to first-hand observation data and was generated independently. The data is obtained through long-term field monitoring and electronically organized to form a standardized dataset.
Six monitoring sites were set up on site, with a total of eight boreholes. Thermistor temperature chains were used for automatic observation, with a measurement accuracy of ± 0.05 ℃; The acquisition unit includes the CR3000 data acquisition instrument from Campbell Scientific in the United States and the TRM128 deep hole temperature measurement expansion board. The temperature probe is installed at a depth covering 0 to 25 meters, with a collection frequency of once every 2 hours. Following standard specifications: The observation method complies with field monitoring standards and relevant technical requirements to ensure the accuracy and representativeness of monitoring data. Processing method: The raw observation data is calculated on a daily basis to generate a daily average ground temperature dataset; The data has not been interpolated, simulated, or subjected to any other secondary calculation processing. Error control: The collection equipment is regularly calibrated to ensure the continuity, accuracy, and scientific applicability of the data.
This data set is the first-hand observation data on the site, which is generated independently. It uses the thermistor temperature chain developed by the State Key Laboratory of Cryosphere Science and Frozen Soil Engineering for automatic collection, and the collection frequency is 2h/time. The original observation data is calculated on a daily basis to generate daily scale data, which maintains the original temperature change characteristics, ensures the accuracy, continuity, and availability of the data, and is suitable for analyzing the thermal characteristics of frozen soil, studying the stability of frozen soil around pipelines, and scientific research on frozen soil environment.
