This dataset is an ELITE Downward Surface Long Wave Radiation (SLDR) product with 1km spatial resolution and 5-minute temporal resolution, provided on a sine grid. The dataset was generated from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data using algorithms developed by Cheng et al. (2016), Cheng et al. (2017), and Yang and Cheng (2020).

Generate from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data using algorithms developed by Cheng et al. (2016), Cheng et al. (2017), and Yang and Cheng.
Using a hybrid algorithm for estimating long wave radiation in clear sky, a hybrid algorithm for estimating long wave radiation in clear sky, a single-layer cloud model method for cloud base temperature, and a surface temperature wide band emissivity method, generate a 1-minute surface long wave radiation scene product (Swath) from MODIS data, ELITE wide band emissivity, etc.
The data quality is good.
