Efficient separation of gangue minerals in scheelite flotation is a persistent scientific research topic. Due to the further scarcity and impurities of scheelite resources, as well as limited industrial production input costs, flotation reagents must meet the requirements in terms of source, price, and efficiency. Cationic collectors are a promising flotation agent for scheelite at room temperature, such as quaternary ammonium salt cationic collectors, which have shown good flotation performance in silicate flotation processes. Compared with quaternary ammonium salts, quaternary ammonium salts are almost unaffected by pH changes and have good pH applicability. Therefore, quaternary ammonium salt groups are an ideal choice for constructing novel collectors that can adapt to a wider pH range. Compared with traditional surfactants, Gemini surfactants have higher activity and can also utilize Gemini's quaternary ammonium structure to build collector affinity groups, enhancing the adsorption response of scheelite surface.

    As mentioned above, gemini surfactant may be an ideal collector for scheelite foam flotation. More importantly, Gemini surfactants have never been reported for the flotation of scheelite. This article mainly studies the flotation laws and mechanisms of new collectors on calcium containing minerals, which is of great significance for the room temperature flotation of scheelite. The results showed that the flotation behavior of Gemini cationic collector HDDA on scheelite and its vein mineral calcite single mineral was studied. At pH 6-11 and a concentration of 0.5 × 10^-4mol/L collector, the new Gemini quaternary ammonium salt collector showed excellent selectivity in the separation of scheelite and calcite experiments. Compared with NaOH, HDDA exhibited superior flotation performance. Supported by the experimental conclusions of single mineral experiments, flotation separation of artificially mixed minerals was carried out using 0.5 × 10^-4mol/L HDDA and NaOL as collectors under different pH conditions. Based on the data of yield and recovery rate, it can be further proved that HDDA is a collector with excellent selectivity for scheelite and calcite.

    During the flotation experiment, various datasets were obtained through experimental methods and formula inference calculations. The data format was decimal (. xls), with a total of 16 experiments and 3 sets of data.
