This ice lake catalogue is supported by International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and United National Environment Program / regional resource center, Asia and the Pacific (UNEP / rrc-ap).

1. According to the remote sensing data of Landsat 4 / 5 (MSS, TM / 1984 / 1999), Landsat 7 (TM & ETM +), irs-1c, liss-iii (1995 irs-1c) and (1997 irs-1d), the current situation of glacial lakes in 2000 is reflected.

2. Glacier cover: Tista basin, Sikkim area

3. Glacier cataloguing includes: ice lake cataloguing, ice lake type, ice lake orientation, ice lake width, ice lake area, ice lake depth, ice lake length and other attributes.
