This dataset provides multi-year data on groundwater level, temperature, chemical composition, and isotopic composition of different water bodies in the high-altitude watershed of the northeastern Qinghai Tibet Plateau in China. The first file contains monitoring data, including groundwater level and surface temperature. The second file includes the results of sample analysis as well as the number and location of sampling points.
Four sets of specific depth water wells were drilled in Hulugou, a high-altitude watershed in the source area of Heihe River in the northern Qinghai Tibet Plateau, to monitor the groundwater level and temperature at different depths. Surface water (including river water, glacier meltwater, and snow meltwater), precipitation, borehole groundwater, spring water, and soil water were sampled, and the abundances of major and minor elements, dissolved organic carbon (DOC), stable isotopes, and radioactive isotopes were measured at 64 locations.
Using field monitoring systems, obtain hydrological and hydrogeological chemical data of various components in the study area, such as glacier snow meltwater, groundwater, and stream water at different stages of freeze-thaw cycles and different locations along the main flow paths.
The data quality is good.
