This article introduces a large dataset of soil carbon isotope composition (δ 13C) collected from major vegetation communities within an altitude range of 0-5 centimeters on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The range of δ 13C values for the samples is -28.26 to -16.95 ‰, showing significant relationships with different vegetation communities such as Forests, Shrublands, Grasslands, and Deserts.

The soil samples used in this study were mainly collected from the main vegetation communities in the 0-5 cm range of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau.
The file named "TP-C13_1000m. tif" is a grid soil carbon isotope prediction using the random forest method( δ 13C) Dataset. The TP_beta_1000m. tif file represents a calculation with a spatial resolution of 1000 meters β The calculation method for the dataset is δ 13C divided by logarithmic conversion of SOC P>
he data quality is good P>
