This dataset represents vector point data on the spatial distribution of World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites in the Yellow River Basin. It originates from the Spatial database of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage Centre. Geospatial elements within the basin were extracted and standardized to the CGCS2000 coordinate system, covering the entire Yellow River Basin.

Based on the spatial distribution information of World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites provided by the Spatial database of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage Centre, this study conducted vectorization of World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites. Vector point elements within the boundaries of the Yellow River Basin were extracted. The processed data were uniformly transformed into the CGCS2000 coordinate system using ArcGIS to ensure accuracy at the watershed scale.
The data were rigorously cross-referenced and verified using multiple online map platforms, including Amap (Gaode Map), Baidu Map, and Tencent Map.
