This dataset provides raster data of the spatial distribution of annual county-level primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added in the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2022. The data were generated based on statistical records of county-level primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added from the China County Statistical Yearbook (2000–2022), combined with population distribution raster data as spatial reference. Through a dasymetric mapping model, the vector data at the county level were converted into raster format, with primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added redistributed to 1 km pixels according to population distribution weights. This process produced continuous spatial distribution rasters, which were uniformly projected onto the CGCS2000 Albers projection coordinate system. The dataset includes 23 years of raster data for primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added, covering the entire Yellow River Basin with a temporal span of 2000–2022 and a spatial resolution of 1 km.

The China County Statistical Yearbook from 2000 to 2022
The annual primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added data for counties within the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2022 were extracted from the China County Statistical Yearbook (2000–2022). Using 1 km resolution population distribution raster data as spatial reference, a zonal density mapping model was employed to convert county-level vector data into raster format. The primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added data were allocated to 1 km × 1 km cells according to population distribution weights, generating continuous spatial distribution rasters. Finally, all annual raster datasets were uniformly transformed into the CGCS2000 Albers projection coordinate system to establish the final spatial distribution dataset of county-level primary, secondary, and tertiary industry value-added data across the Yellow River Basin.
The data presented in this study originate from the China County Statistical Yearbook (2000–2022), reflecting information on added values of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries at the county-level scale during that period.
