This data is the ground ozone concentration data from August 1, 1994 to December 31, 2013 at China atmospheric background reference Observatory, unit: ppb. China Waliguan atmospheric background reference Observatory was founded in 1994. It is located on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau with an altitude of 3810 meters. It is the highest atmospheric background reference monitoring station in the world and the first atmospheric background reference monitoring station in the hinterland of the mainland in the world. Its establishment fills the gap of the global atmospheric monitoring network (GAW) in Eurasia. Waliguan atmospheric background reference Observatory is jointly invested and constructed by the Chinese government and the global environment facility, and operated and managed by the China Meteorological Administration. Comprehensive atmospheric background monitoring based on greenhouse gas and atmospheric ozone monitoring; halogenated greenhouse gas is a general term for greenhouse gases containing halogen atoms (fluorine, chlorine, etc.), almost entirely generated by human activities, mainly used as refrigerants, foaming agents, sprays, cleaning agents, fire extinguishing agents, solvents, insulating materials, etc., including the Kyoto Protocol, which limits SF6 and HFCs. PFCs, CFCs and HCFCs limited by Montreal Protocol account for about 12% of long-lived greenhouse gas radiative forcing.

China Meteorological Administration started SF6 sampling and observation at Waliguan station in 1996, on-line observation of halogenated greenhouse gases at Shangdianzi station in 2006, and scientific research sampling analysis has been carried out in five stations since 2010. The concentrations of CFCs, halons, ch3ccl3 and CCl4 in the emission reduction period of China showed a downward trend, while the concentrations of alternative species HCFCs and HFCs increased rapidly. Among them, the average atmospheric SF6 concentrations at Waliguan and Shangdianzi stations in 2013 were 8.10 ± 0.12ppt and 8.12 ± 0.10ppt respectively, which were the highest since the observation.
