This data set includes five farmland sample plots of wheat field (6 samples), barley field, highland barley field, corn field and millet field, three natural sample plots of spruce forest (3 samples), alpine meadow (2 samples) and wetland, topsoil samples of donghuishan archaeological site (2 samples), and anthers of wheat, barley, highland barley and Agropyron. The maximum diameter of gramineous pollen was measured by a unified pretreatment method, and the grain size was divided into 43 grain size intervals according to the fixed interval of 2.5um, and the percentage content of each sample in each grain size interval was calculated, so as to determine the distribution range of grain size of different types of gramineous pollen.
The data were collected from wheat field, barley field and other types of farmland, spruce forest, alpine meadow and other natural vegetation zones, as well as crop anthers and weed anthers in wasteland in the upper reaches of Heihe River Basin, northwest arid region
The data set contains two tables: (1) the original data of pollen grain size of different types of Gramineae; (2) the percentage data of pollen grain size of different types of Gramineae

This data sheet is manually entered by a specially assigned person according to the record book
Algorithm and model introduction: distribution frequency of different Gramineae pollen: the number of Gramineae pollen counted in each particle size interval of different samples / sampling points divided by the number of all measured Gramineae pollen and multiplied by 100%.
(1) Data production process: the hydrofluoric acid screening method was used for pretreatment, and the percentage content was calculated by Excel under Nikon microscope. According to the distribution range of grain size of Gramineae pollen of different species and genera, combined with other indicators, we can reveal the impact of agricultural activities on environmental changes, and can also be applied to archaeological sites to reflect the history of agricultural cultivation. Some obvious error data are eliminated when processing the data table.
