The prediction of sediment deposition in the foundation trench is mainly aimed at the construction needs of deep and medium channel engineering. Based on the numerical simulation prediction system, it mainly lists the predicted thickness of sediment deposition in the foundation trench during the sinking construction period of 9 pipe sections E1-E9. The forecast provides important support for the decision-making and construction organization of immersed tube construction. From the actual results, it can be seen that the predicted values accurately provide a judgment on whether the design requirements are met, providing accurate basis for construction.
The data time range is from June 2020 to April 2021, during the sedimentation construction period of E1-E9 pipe sections. Each forecast is based on the construction organization arrangement, predicting the daily and cumulative sediment deposition thickness between the start of gravel leveling and the completion of sinking construction.
