This dataset contains geothermal observation data from 16 boreholes (numbered XAWBH-01 to XAWBH-16) in the permafrost region of the Genhe River Basin on the western slope of the Greater Khingan Range in Northeast China. The time span is from August 2024 to August 2025, and the observation frequency is once a month. The depth of the sensors installed in each borehole varies, covering the surface up to 40 meters. The observation depth of most boreholes is concentrated between 0.5 and 20 meters, with the deepest borehole (XAWBH-14) extending to 40 meters. Ground temperature data is recorded in degrees Celsius.

Equipment: TR32 data acquisition, thermistor temperature measuring chain;
Method: Measure the resistance through data collection and convert it into a temperature value
Detection method: Real time measurement, recorded every 30 minutes.
Based on the resistance recorded by data acquisition, the resistance value is converted into a temperature value through corresponding coefficients and conversion formulas.
Ground temperature monitoring uses a thermistor thermometer to measure and determine its resistance value, which is then converted into a temperature value. The observation data has undergone strict quality control during the collection and processing process.
